KPOP

Okay... So my next topic I'd write about is Kpop.

K-pop is an abbreviation for Korean pop music

The definition explains the basic meaning of Kpop. To be honest I don't know how to start on this topic because KPOP is very broad. I only started listening to kpop this year on April-March but I new it's existence since 2010 when my classmates forced the teacher to play Super Junior's Sorry. But earlier than that my korean friend introduced me to Wonder Girls back in 2008 which I wasn't aware of different artist and groups of Kpop. I thought that Wonder Girls were the only popular group in South Korea then and that there weren't any other artists.
Super Junior Sorry- the non asians knew about this before me who is asian, looking back now that's pretty embarassing.

Tell Me by Wonder Girls. It's catchy, I was hooked at that time but I was more interested in anime songs and american songs.

Even though I don't understand Korean, I still continue to listen to Kpop. I don't understand myself but now I prefer listening to kpop than to other types of music. I actually stopped listening to English music and now outdated from the latest top music. Once you get attach to a song in kpop that you really like, you get addicted that you'll realise your on youtube watching other Kpop groups. Other Kpopers would understand.

I would say this post is the most random post I written (so far) because... The flow of writing is not continues, that's how I think it is. Maybe, I'll write this or something... Yeah I will but later.

Downloaded blogger droid

I downloaded the blogger droid into my phone. So it's easier for me to access my blog when I want to. Whenever I'm not able to access my laptop I can go on this instead.

So I am going to apoligiase in advance grammar and spelling mistakes. I normally use spellcheck since me phone doesn't have one I'm sorry. I'm a bad speller.

I really am starting to dedicate my time to my blog. Hopefully I don't miss my other priorities aswell or other activities.

Well nice posting from my phone and I'll come up with more posts to write about. Thank you for reading my blog.

IGCSE- ART

At my school we have either two options to choose our subjects for our career. Either the international Cambridge or NCEA which stands for National Certificate of Educational Achievement. So if ypu're familiar with these qualifications then you'll know that I'm from New Zealand. I wasn't planning on revealing the country I'm from but What the hell?! I doubt anyone reads my blog. So yes, I'm from New Zealand.

So I'm taking English Literature, Maths Extended, Science Combined, Art and Geography.

So I'm going to talk about ART IGCSE, ART. Right now we're preparing for our Controlled Test which is our final assessment and our final exam. This is 50% of our mark for the whole year. In the Controlled test we are given 8 weeks of preparation time. We are to choose one question from 10 questions which is not evenly divided into 2 Sections: Section A and B.

Section A

  • Tin on a stool or step ladder, a bucket and some brushes and plus some rugs.
  • pile of flowers in the dish
  • Mushrooms
  • A figure seated on the edge of the table.
Section B
  • Masquerade
  • Showers
  • Tubular
  • Bridges
  • Crush
  • Overgrown
From Section A ; it is expected to paint exactly as the question specifies and Section B is an interpretation of the question. From both of these sections we are expected to have a still life reference to paint from. We are to provide photographs from our objects etc. We're allowed to paint from the same object, so my masks are from our Art department.

I am doing question 5 which is masquerade. So I'll post some of my photographs.

Since my question is from section B which is an interpretation. I am thinking of a carnival theme since my masks shows a clown like mask.

I have other pictures of my masks (there's only two) but it's just different point of views. Can you see the where my carnival concept came from? So for our painting we are required to have artist models. My teacher shared some masquerade artist models:
  •  Jenny Dolzel ~ a New Zealand artist
  • Lidia Simeonova

  • Alex Levin

These three artist are the ones that stood out for me, there are three more but they aren't that important as to these artist.

The first artist which my teacher told us that she liked her art in relation to her uniqueness and absurd art but at the same time she said that she didn't like her aswell because her artwork was weird.
The second artist model I find really... I really like her painting technique which I find very similar to mine. She uses lots of texture which I do.
The third one I found was very... my first impression was "WOW... is that a painting?" One of his paintings looks so real, I swear my jaw dropped. But I realised his masks and perspective are all the same... which I eventually got bored of but I still like his concept. He uses different backgrounds of Venice which I find really fascinating.

I'll post more posts of my art preparation later. Thanks for keeping up with my blog!

lalalala~ life is good :D

I just reliased something when I was reading my- well when I was looking at my blog. The blog title caught my attention. Wow~ what a lame title... Couldn't I come up with a better more unique one? I wasn't even thinking properly when I was writing the title, it doesn't even sound like what I'd say. It sounds more what my friend would say since she's all happy-go-lucky type of person. Hm... Is it possible to change the title? I'm seriously regretting how I didn't think about the blog title carefully.

So high again :D I decided to talk more about myself. It's the best I could come up with if I want more viewers in my blog.

So firstly- I think I'd rather do this in bullet points.

  • Angeline
  • Female, Asian
  • Ages above 15 years of age. I'm a teenager
  • High school student and from the country I'm from we call high school college. So here I am currently in college.
  • I have no pets. But I like both cats and dogs but I prefer to have a pet dog.
  • My hobbies are art and surfing on the net. Question is 'surfing on the net' still applicable in today's generation. I rarely hear it nowadays.
  • My favourite subject at school is Art and English, sometimes I like Geography but right now I don't.
  • I am bad at maths.
  • I wear glasses
  • Like other asians I like anime but not a major fan. I prefer reading manga but I haven't been reading as intensely as I did before. I guess I have other priorities?
  • I have recently been influenced to listen to Asian music such as Kpop. So if you don't like Kpop. I'm sorry I like Kpop and I just lost a viewer... *sighs* Oh! And if you don't know what Kpop is; it stands for korean pop.
  • I am very lazy.
  • I'm responsible at home but infront of my friends I try to look responsible.
So that's all I can think of at this moment. I decided to write more since my blog looks pretty empty. So yeah.... post more later.. when I come up with more topics thanks.

First Blog Post

Hey. Normally conversations starts with a greeting hello, how are you? Well so there it is a greeting from a new blogger. Starting the first post is hard for me, because to be honest  don't know what to say. I don't know why I'm even staring a blog, probably because of boredom or maybe I just want to procrastinate? I know the existence of blogs and this isn't my first blog in blogger (I've forgotten my old blog a long time ago) but what I am not sure of is 'why am I making another blog?'. I know that I wouldn't be able to fully commit on posting on this blog everyday. But I am wondering why am I making another blog? You might think I'm stupid for asking this but please try to understand that we do things that we sometimes are not sure of.

So if you reach this far, thank you for reading this far and I am surprised, that you'd spend this long to continue reading my blog. So to start of, well here we go again, back to the greetings. Hi, my name is Angeline, actually that's not my real name but I prefer to be called that online and my real name is not that far from that. Guess what I'm from South East Asia, well I'm pretty sure my homeland is located in the Southern East Asia, so how do you say this.. err I'm Asian. My family immigrated from the Pacific to  Oceania and we've been living here for almost 6 years. I have no siblings, I'm an only child and  don't feel lonely nor am I spoiled. And that all I can say about myself and where I am from. My interest are, how do you say it unique? And lastly for an Asian I would say I am not smart so you would consider me as an asian fail and I am very very lazy. Ahaha..

So yeah.. hi again, thanks for reading my first post and I hope I dedicate more time on blog to make it more interesting. And I need to think about something to write about. So yeah... stay tuned... I'll probably post another one in the next hour... since I have nothing else to do. So yeah Thank you very much and I hope you continue to read my blog in the future!!
